Riverstate wins the contract through transparency & speed

When it came to selecting a new managing director for FRANK, van den Borne sought recruiting support for the cross-border search: “When filling a managing director position, you really have to be absolutely certain. A wrong choice will be more expensive than any recruiting service could be. That’s why we were looking for a reliable partner, and that led us to Riverstate.”

Initially, Riverstate was just one of several German recruiting companies that van den Borne and his team were scrutinizing: “We received offers from three recruiting providers, which we were able to compare after an initial discussion,” explains the managing director. “Riverstate impressed us with its transparency and responsiveness. While the follow-up process with other companies was somewhat vague, Riverstate gave us precise instructions right away about which steps would be taken and when. We had the feeling that things would move quickly with Riverstate – and that’s exactly how it turned out.”

After just a few weeks, four top-class candidates

After the on-site setup day, during which lead recruiter Michaela Rütten got a taste of the cleaning specialists and got to know the company, its people, and its culture a little better, van den Borne didn’t have to wait long for the first results:

Just a few weeks after starting the project, Michaela Rütten had already rounded up three promising candidates for the managing director position. But as the DiBO team began their selection process, she added another, true to the motto “save the best for last”:

“We already had three good candidates when Michaela got in touch again and said she’d found someone else she’d like to introduce me to. I really liked that: Riverstate had enough candidates to complete the initial assignment and still continued looking. Unanimous appointment in 2 months

This fourth candidate, whom lead recruiter Michaela added to the initial trio, ultimately prevailed over all the others – and this decision was unanimous: “We were absolutely satisfied with the selection of candidates Riverstate presented to us. But because all of us simply liked one candidate better than the others, the decision was ultimately easy.”

It was the promise of transparency and speed that initially attracted van den Borne to Riverstate. This promise became reality: “It took us two months in total to find our ideal candidate. And that’s truly an achievement.”

The new managing director has now been working at FRANK for two and a half months and is striking a good balance between consistency and innovation. “Of course, it’s important that a managing director represents us as a company and lives our values ​​on site,” says van den Borne. “At the same time, a new managing director naturally also brings new ideas to our company, and that also moves us forward.”
